what should a classroom look like?

           I have established what it means to be a good student here at gce. You have to be willing to participate. Be encouraging and be willing to help other students. Be curious don't be afraid to ask questions, everyone works differently and what someone else might understand you might not and that's okay. The same thing goes for the teachers they have to be patient. They need to be willing to understand that someone may need more time than others. They need to be willing to take corrections or suggestions from students.

           I have established what it means to have a successful learning environment. You need to be comfortable and be able to enjoy your learning space. Make your classroom feel like your safe space. Make it fun so you are not looking at a blank wall while doing your work, maybe you would rather look at a fun poster. Add some fun bean bags that you could sit at when you are working independently. Myself and other students here at gce are in the process of turning our classroom into a safe place and a place where we are comfortable. We call it the think tank. We added some fun chairs and are thinking about putting a white board and chalk board wall. I know it might seem like those things shouldn't be in a classroom but i would much rather learn here than some simple standard classroom that I would fall asleep in. It is also Covid safe because the chairs are spaced out and the max capacity is 12.
